Mountain Tracks is a small team of mountain guides and ski coaches who have been committed to delivering outstanding alpine mountain experiences since 2000. In 2016, Mountain Tracks was acquired by the Ski Club of Great Britain, a not-for-profit snowsports club.

Freeing up time for a small team

Mountain Tracks offers incredible alpine experiences, which means there are lots of bookings to process. Before partnering with RezKit, these were handled by an outdated IT system – meaning that manual data entry and spreadsheets were part and parcel of the experience.

During the pandemic, the team handling this admin downsized. They struggled to get everything done, let alone plan exciting new tours to grow the business further.

As tourism bounced back, Mountain Tracks' parent company decided that the team needed a centralised travel booking system. That’s when they got in touch with us at RezKit, impressed by our track record of providing great reservation management systems.

Centralising the booking process

We teamed up with Mountain Tracks to integrate RezKit into its IT infrastructure. This provides a centralised system for managing travel bookings, payments, and customer data – something that manager Patryk has called a “superb improvement” from the previous IT system.

Next, we needed to get the team comfortable using RezKit ahead of winter, their peak season. This meant onboarding RezKit efficiently, customising it to their needs, and resolving any challenges that arose. We didn’t want to cause any disruption to the already stretched team.

RezKit is simple to use, but we provided hands-on training and user manuals to make it even easier for Mountain Tracks. In Patryk’s words, “the intuitive design of RezKit was easy to learn, and with the straightforward user-friendly interface, it didn’t require much time for us to start using it.”
